Finley arrived at the shelter on March 26th as a stray. No one sadly, and possibly may end up as tragically, has come to claim him. Large dogs, such as Huskies, don't tolerate being caged up in kennels well for such long periods as experienced in shelters, besides the kennels being relatively small for larger breeds of dogs. Huskies tolerate it even worse, since are active dogs, need physical and mental stimulation, besides proper training by their humans, so being caged up so much in such an environment can be even more stressful than for some other breeds. Since they don't tolerate well, at risk of being 'humanely' euthanized, tragically, due to mental stress. Finley will be spayed by the shelter once adopted, at no charge, same for microchipping and core vaccines. Please, come out to meet Finley, see if hit it off, possibly save his life. Contact this page for further information on Finely and regarding meeting process. He can also be fostered, instead of adopted. If want to see other wonderful dogs, besides Finley, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in very much need of finding a loving home, scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control', on left-hand side. Come.
