About Foxy

You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Foxy's Story This handsome guy is Foxy! He is as sweet as they come! He really enjoys pets and ears scratches. He is currently around 62 pounds and would benefit from gaining a few pounds. He had lost some weight due to having salmon poisoning when he first arrived, and has since made a wonderful recovery. He is back to eating normally and feels much better now! He is estimated to be about 2 years old. He loves people and does really well with other dogs! He even tolerated the hyper dogs! He knows sit and love treats and everything food related. He is a gentle natured guy who loves to be close to his people. Foxy appears to have had a broken pelvis and femur at some point in his life. X-rays revealed that these fractures did not heal properly and were not attended to in the right way, causing range of motion issues in one of his legs. While he is comfortable now and gets around well, he will face arthritis and potentially need some physical therapy and rehabilitation in the future. I'm fixe, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. I am $185 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458.
