About LOUIE

LOUIE is a 3 year old, 28 pound handsome moyen Poodle with a happy spirit and so much love to give. He was adopted from us last year but returned back to rescue when his adopter's work schedule changed. LOUIE is an affectionate little guy who makes friends easily and never meets a stranger. He is happiest when he is close to his people. He has a constantly wagging tail and sweet nature and once he decides you are his buddy, you are his buddy for life. He would love a home where he is not left alone for long periods. LOUIE is a loving lap dog, but he also enjoys staying active. He loves walks, running and playing in the yard, and having fun with toys. He is social with other dogs although we think he would be ok as an only dog if someone is home with him often. But he would also enjoy having a canine friend about his size to play with and keep him company. He has not been around little kids, but older children should be fine. Cats are unknown. LOUIE seems to be housebroken, uses the doggie door, and is leash trained. We are looking for a home with a secure fenced yard so he can safely run and play. At night, he sleeps in the big bed. LOUIE is neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
