About JUNEBUG

JUNEBUG is a beautiful 23-month-old Cocker Spaniel weighing just under 17 pounds. She came into rescue as an owner surrender, was adopted, and was sadly returned because she is small enough to slip through a wrought iron fence. JUNEBUG is a very affectionate girl who loves being close to her person. She enjoys attention and will happily stay nearby, always wanting to be part of whatever you are doing. She would love a person to call her own, that she can spend lots and lots of time with. She's not going to be happy alone but is so sweet that she can easily be part of your everyday life. She is a wonderful cuddle buddy and will happily snuggle up whenever she finds the perfect spot. JUNEBUG generally does well with other dogs close to her size but does not enjoy dogs in her face. She would do best as an only dog or with a calm, respectful companion. We feel she would be happiest in a home without young children, though older respectful kids may be fine. Cats are unknown. JUNEBUG is still working on house training but is making great progress with a routine and has learned to use the dog door. A fenced yard is not required as long as she is safely walked on a harness and leash. At night, JUNEBUG sleeps in the big bed, preferably under the covers until she gets too warm. JUNEBUG is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
