About Lobo

Meet Lobo (A283919) - a very special senior who deserves so much more than a kennel. Lobo is estimated to be 13-14 years old and has been waiting at Pinal County Animal Care and Control since December 2025. Month after month, he's watched people come and go�'�| but no one has chosen him. A shelter is no place for a senior dog. He should be spending his golden years on a soft bed, in a quiet home, surrounded by love-not sitting alone in a kennel. Despite everything, Lobo remains such a cool old guy. He absolutely loves attention and leans into every bit of affection he can get. He's calm, gentle, and walks beautifully on leash-making him an easy, enjoyable companion to take out and about. ��%A4%8D Lobo does have a few handling sensitivities and prefers not to be picked up, which is understandable at his age. He just needs someone who will respect his space and let him move at his own pace. According to his intake notes, he has previously done well with kids and small dogs and is house trained. There's no information on how he does with cats. At his age, time is precious. Lobo shouldn't have to spend another day waiting. He deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, to be cherished, to be home. Please don't let him spend his final chapter in a shelter.
