My family rescued Maple in December of 2025. We are a family of a married couple and 13 & 8 year old children. Maple has clearly seen some trauma, especially from men, and she is terrified of men. She is receptive to my kids but my house is loud and chaotic and that's not conducive for Maple's growth. Maple needs a home with another dog with good energy as she responds well when we bring friends dogs over to meet her. Also a more quiet environment would be ideal for Maple. We've tried for the last 5 months to make Maple feel comfortable but our house just isn't the right fit for this precious girl.
