Meet Tanner. %90%BE Tanner is a petite little guy with a naturally cropped tail and a whole lot of charm packed into his small frame. We believe he's a Rat Terrier-type mix, possibly with Dachshund or Chihuahua in the blend-his face shape, coloring, and that sweet little underbite definitely keep us guessing. He's about 6 months old and currently weighs 16 lbs, with an estimated adult size around 25 lbs. Tanner is already showing off how smart he is-he knows how to sit and is doing fantastic with potty training for his age. He's also crate trained and settles in well, making him an easy addition to a home routine. Personality-wise, he's the perfect mix: cuddly when he wants love, but also independent enough to entertain himself. He enjoys toys, is very food motivated (which makes training a breeze), and is eager to learn and bond with his people. He's a loyal little shadow in the making. He does wonderfully with other dogs and would need a canine companion in his forever home to help build his confidence and keep him happy. A secure fenced yard is a must for safe play and zoomies. Tanner can be a little shy when first introduced to new environments, but it doesn't last long-once he realizes he's safe, his sweet and playful personality comes right out. He adores people and would do well with respectful older kids who understand how to interact gently with a small pup. He's playful, smart, a little quirky, and full of potential. What he needs now is someone willing to continue his training, guide him, and let him grow into the incredible little dog he's meant to be. Tanner is ready to find his best friend. %90 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption.
