About Gatsby

Meet our newest foster! Gatsby, #a5760132 is a 2 year old neutered male that was surrendered to the shelter on March 5, 2026. Gatsby is a really cool sweet cat. he is very nice and loves attention. He loves sleeping and playing on cat towers! He is good with other female cats. he doesn't like our other young male foster cat. We have one other male cat that he is ok with. Perhaps, he just doesn't like the competition for adoption! he would do great in a home as the only cat or with other cats. Older children are ok. While he is great in our home, he was not ok in the shelter. It happens often. cats are scared in a cage and get defensive and reactive. It is misread as aggression. So we have him in foster. we have to find him a home. He can't go back to the shelter. We've been trying to bring these cats back to the shelter and it doesn't work out as the stress returns. Then they have to return to us until they find a home. So someone, please step up and adopt gatsby. He's a really cool cat.
