About Churro

Australian Shepherd / Border Collie
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

My name is Amelia Walsh and I'm located in Columbus, Ohio. My mother and I are looking to rehome Churro, an Australian Shepherd mix that we adopted from the Franklin County Shelter in 2022. Churro has been prescribed trazodone and fluoxetine for aggression and anxiety and it has worked well, but the telehealth vet we use can no longer prescribe this without him seeing a vet in person. We are worried about him getting aggressive with people at the vet and unaffordable costs associated with the visit. Churro has started to get aggressive with my mother at times and we no longer feel able to handle him safely. He gets walked for 1-3 hours daily, but running and herding is difficult because he may not do well with other people and their animals that may be around. We're hoping someone can provide the outdoor life he needs. Phone numbers 614-804-3485 and 614-316-4708
