Hi, I'm Rufus - your future best friend, co-pilot, and official pup cup taste-tester! I'm a Coonhound mix * 5 years young �'ۢ 47 lbs (currently underweight, working my way up to 55-60 lbs). I'm a happy, social guy who loves meeting new people and making dog friends. I do great with other dogs, enjoy being out and about in public, and I'm always up for a car ride (especially if it ends with a treat�'�| just saying). I'd do well in a home with kids 5+ who understand how to be respectful with dogs. I'd prefer a home without cats - they're just not really my thing. I'm still brushing up on my house manners, but don't let that fool you - I'm super smart and very motivated by food and praise. With a little consistency, I'm going to shine.
