Hi there! I'm Oakie. ��%90%BE I'm a 12-year-old, 15lb Yorkipoo gentleman who came into rescue alongside a friend named Sandy - but after spending time with us both, my foster family discovered I do just great flying solo! I'm ready to find my very own forever home. I walk around with a smile on my face and my ears perked up, because I don't want to miss a single thing happening around me. I make the most adorable little old-man noises - sometimes happy, sometimes opinionated, always entertaining. I also love chasing squirrels in the backyard, which honestly keeps me feeling young. What I love most is being close to my person. I'm your little shadow, your cuddle buddy, your co-pilot. I'll snuggle up in bed with you for a bit, then stretch out on my side like the distinguished gentleman I am. I'm also food motivated and very curious about what's happening in the kitchen - just saying. I'm housebroken, crate trained, good in the car, and friendly with other dogs. I don't know about cats and I would probably be fine with older children (youngsters might be too much for me). My leash manners are a work in progress, but I'm improving with every walk!
