Good with car rides?: No-whines. Socialized with: *people?: No (territorial at home). *dogs?: Yes. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): Not initially-he is very territorial of his home and can be difficult during the first few meetings, but after 3-4 interactions he warms up and becomes loving. In public, he does great and loves everyone. Sebastian was recently assessed by a trainer who also confirmed that Sebastian is not aggressive, he is just territorial of his home / property. Meet and Greets should definitely be on neutral ground. Loves: Treats, balls, cuddling, chilling on the couch, playing with other dogs, being near his person, and bully sticks. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: This breed is super intelligent. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): Yes. *Good on a Leash?: No-needs work. *Lovable?: This breed is super lovable once they claim you as their person/family. *Eager and fast learner?: This breed is super fast learners when they are being committed to and worked with. Bite History?: One past incident approx. 4 years ago-while barking and air snapping at a 90-year-old woman on the property, his tooth scraped her skin (NO puncture, NO bite). Reported at the time. No incidents since. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: 'Sebastian is a sweet lay back boy that gets along with any other animal. Once he knows you're ok, he will love you forever'. Sebastian is currently with the soon-to-be ex, who is disabled and will be moving into assisted living and cannot keep him. Sebastian will be a great companion for the right person.
