I'm reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Felicia, regarding four Saint Bernards in San Antonio that are in need of foster placement or permanent homes. You may have seen her original post circulating, but I wanted to follow up directly as the situation has become more time-sensitive. Felicia will need to fully vacate the home where the dogs are currently living by May 1st, and we are working urgently to secure safe, appropriate placements for each of them. Felicia recently lost her husband and is navigating an incredibly difficult transition. Rehoming these dogs has not been an easy decision-they are deeply loved members of her family-but her priority is ensuring they each have stability, safety, and the care they deserve moving forward. Here are a few additional details that may be helpful: All dogs are located in San Antonio, TX They are current on rabies vaccinations They had heartworm testing approximately 2 years ago They have not been on consistent heartworm prevention since that time The dogs: Rocky (5) - Affectionate but anxious; would need to be the only dog or with Zelda (neutered); and Zelda (5) - Sweet but nervous; needs patience and a stable environment (spayed). We are open to foster placements, rescue intake, or carefully screened adopters. We are also more than willing to coordinate transport if needed and provide any additional information to help with placement. Rocky is the fluffy one and Zelda is the half masked one. They are Saint Pyrenees. They are such loving dogs and I just want them to end up somewhere safe and understood.
