Meet Baisley here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPHA4a07b5E And here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5k-NI8l4Cg Baisley is a tiny little survivor with a very big heart. This sweet girl weighs about 10 pounds and, as of March 1, 2026, is approximately one year and four months old. Her story began on the streets of the Rio Grande Valley near the Texas border, where she was living outside with her mom and siblings, simply trying to survive. Thankfully, Baisley made her way to Tracy's Paws, where she has been safe, loved, and cared for while waiting for a family of her own. During her time here, Baisley has been an absolute joy. She is affectionate, gentle, and loves being around people. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and truly just wants what every little dog deserves - a soft place to rest, a lap to curl up in, and someone to love her. When Baisley first arrived, we noticed she would occasionally limp on one of her back legs. After having her evaluated by our veterinarian, we learned that she has double luxating patellas in her back legs. This condition is fairly common in small dogs. The good news is that Baisley is not limping right now and is moving around comfortably. However, there is a possibility that she may require corrective surgery later in life if the condition becomes problematic as she grows older. It's also possible she may never need surgery at all. Because of this, we want Baisley's future family to be aware of the condition and be prepared financially should surgery ever become necessary. Transparency is very important to us because we want the very best future for every dog in our care. If you watch Baisley's video, you'll see what we mean - you would never know she has this condition. She runs, plays, and enjoys life just like any happy little dog. What Baisley truly wants now is a home where she can finally belong. A couch to curl up on. A lap to sit in. A family to love her for the rest of her life. After everything she has been through, this little girl deserves nothing less. Baisley is currently located in Hondo, TX but can be transported to Dublin, OH on April 25th with an approved application and committed adoption. The adoption fee is $500 which includes her transport fee.
