About Melly

Indoor female lop mix named Melly. She was born on Feb 12, 2021 at Langton Farms. She is considered 'Chinchilla' colored. The mom is a pure Mini Lop and the farther is a pure Holland Lop. We have had her since she was 4 months old. She was spayed at around 1 year of age. She is a very sweet little girl with a fantastic little personality. She enjoys being petted and ear scratches. She prefers to be close to the ground and not to be picked up regularly. She enjoys when you get down on her level to interact and will hop up on you and have a little snuggle. Her primary diet is Timothy Hay and Oxbow adult Pellets (a brand new bag of pellets will be rehomed with her). She would likely be happiest in a home with no dogs or cats as she is a prey animal. She is good with children but they should be supervised as bunnies can bite if threatened or hurt. Bunnies do not thrive in small cages and she will need extra room to exercise and binky (cute little bunny jumps) and really enjoys free roaming with you in a safe environment free of dangers such as wires she could accidentally chew. She is VERY loved but we are moving to Portugal this month and bunnies do not to well with that kind of travel. ���� We are seeking a home that will love and adore her, play with her, give her the INDOOR space that bunnies require and has researched bunny care. She will need an xpen at minimum and preferably the tallest one. Yes, they can jump that high. She is NOT vaccinated for RHDV-2 (Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease) which has been found in North Texas. The average lifespan of her breed is 7-10 years but well cared for she can live for 12-14 years, so she is a long term commitment. She is now considered an 'Adult' bunny. Please do not consider offering her a home just because bunnies are cute. She deserves a family that will dote on her and make her remaining years the best they can be. �%9D%A4��%8F
