Riva is a 2-3 year old Rottweiler/Aussie mix. She's sweet, affectionate, a little vocal, and loves attention! Last year she showed up on our pasture very skinny and only wearing an orange collar with no contact info. We searched everywhere for an owner, but sadly no one came forward. Since then, she's been cared for and loved, and now she's ready for her forever home. Due to being out in the wilderness, she unfortunately is heartworm positive and currently on monthly treatment, but doing very well. She won't have to be on treatment forever, just until she is fully cured. She's spayed, microchipped, crate trained, and potty trained. She does great at the vet and does well on car rides. Because of her breed, she would thrive in an active home with a large, secure backyard to run and play. She could use a little leash training when she gets excited, but she's smart and eager to learn. Riva would do best as the only dog so she can have all the love and attention she craves. She's not good with small dogs or cats. We're unsure how she is around children as she's never been around them at home, but does well around other adults and is fine when seeing children out in public spaces. She has also done well around cows and horses. If you're looking for a loyal, outdoor-loving companion, Riva might be your girl. Message us if you'd like to meet her.
