About Lacee and Theo

We are two incredibly gentle, tolerant, quiet, and loyal dogs who have had a tough last four years of our lives. We were not given attention from humans or allowed to spend time with dogs. However, today we are ready to start our lives on the other side of that. Our hearts are pure. We are not scared but just a bit timid at first. If you come towards us, we may run, but please persist as once you touch us, we lean into it and want more. Human hands, we have learned, are for comforting, feeding, and walking us. We trust that you will do us no harm, even if we back up initially. We are both 4 1/2 years old and have shown to be housebroken from our short time inside a home. We have shown and received kindness from dogs, adults, and kids. We follow you where you go and want to be part of whatever you may be doing. We are quiet and calm in the car for rides and can be patient if you need to run into a store. Our ideal situation would be living in a home but to have a doggie door to the outside where there is a secure fence. An enclosure outside would be best to allow us to know that it is safe from predators and we can relax rather than patrol our outdoor safe space. We have grown quite fond of each other so would prefer to stay together. Whatever you give us in love and loyalty, we will give you back endless amounts more. We will earn our place in your hearts.
