About Indy

Backstory & Personality She was originally adopted from a shelter after being surrendered by her previous owner due to reported food aggression. Since being in my care, she has not shown any signs of food aggression, though she can occasionally seem unsure or anxious around food in new situations. She is a sweet, gentle, and very affectionate dog who loves being close to her person. She's a big cuddler, enjoys relaxing by your side, and is perfectly happy spending time napping or just hanging out with you. She does experience anxiety, especially around loud noises, busy environments, or lots of movement (like traffic or crowds). While she is generally good with people and has never shown any aggression or bitten anyone, she may need a little time to feel comfortable and secure in new situations. She can do okay around other dogs but may show some nervousness, and she tends to be uninterested in cats. Overall, she would thrive best in a calm, patient home with someone who can give her reassurance, consistency, and love. With the right environment, her affectionate and loyal personality really shines through.
