About Leia

Hello! My name is Leia CHEWbacca SKyBARKER. I live in the Kissimmee/Davenport area. I LOVE humans. I will bark at first because I'm a scaredy cat and it takes me a moment to warm up to strangers but after that I'm your BEST FRIEND. I love belly rubs and booty rubs, cuddles and I will kiss you endlessly. I'm potty trained and really good with learning schedules and routines. I'm a smarty pants and highly trainable and knows basic commands and adaptable in my surroundings. I can be overstimulated at times and can be protective of people I love so a home with no kids will help me be the most comfortable. I use to live with other girl dogs but I LOVE to be the center of attention so a home with just me gives me all the love I need!(I do well but strongly encourage to be only dog in the home).I love playing in the backyard and getting fresh air and barking at absolutely nothing because I'm silly. I enjoy going for runs and swimming in the pool if you encourage me. I am really good at destroying stuff plushies and finding the squeaker in record time so my favorite toys are the rubber spikey textured ball toys that last longer for me to enjoy! If you think I'm the ideal fur baby for you come meet me! This has been incredibley difficult to come to this decision as I've had this beautiful animal since December of 2019 at 3 months old. She was a Parvo baby who who beat the odds of surviving and lived in the struggles of Covid times with a proper chance socialize in her first year. She's an incredible charming, quirky, and loving girl who deserves the best. Unfortunately interactions with children other dogs recently in the home have made it challenging with her anxious personality and the decision to rehome her is the best option. Please help her find the home that helps her shine!
