Max is a handsome 12-year-old Pit/Heeler mix with a one-of-a-kind coat - dark brindle with striking speckled white markings that make him look like he was painted by the desert itself. This gentle senior boy is a little on the shy side at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet, soulful nature shines right through. Max is looking for a calm, patient home where he can decompress, get some loving guidance on shedding a few extra pounds, and spend his golden years being exactly what he deserves to be - somebody's cherished companion.
