About Ruby

Looking to rehome our 4 year old black lab named Ruby Roo. We have all of her records and information I can send. She is microchipped, spayed, and had been up to date on her vaccines, but they have expired as of December 30, 2025 and we are not able to cover the cost to have these administered. I can also personal message the names of those so that you were able to price them out. She is friendly, house trained and has been since she was a puppy, good with children of all ages, good with cats. She will run along the fence and bark at the neighbor dog at times or strangers, but honestly no behavioral issues. She has had a couple of seizures in the past, it had been shared with us that we have the option to see neurology, but she shows no signs of physical, behavioral, and cognitive decline. They had happened only after having been in her kennel long days when we were at work and kids were at school and activities to follow and then letting her out she had shown excitement and then it happened for about 1 minute in length. Our vet had not been concerned and did suggest that she was overly excited and also had drank an overabundance of water after she had ran around to play so ultimately they believe it was from that. She's had her checkups routinely and vaccines etc throughout the years and had never shown any health concerns. We are looking to rehome her as we aren't home enough for her and it isn't fair to her. Her personality is loving, but also she's more playful than our older dog who enjoys lounging 24/7.
