About Alex

This handsome gentleman is Alex, a neutered male, who is approximately two years old and appears to be a Maine Coon/Domestic Mix. Alex and his siblings, Simba, an orange and white female, and Leo, an orange and white male, have recently been unceremoniously dumped outside as their owners who adopted them two years ago as kittens have decided that they no longer want to be 'cat people'. Thankfully a neighbor has come the Alex's rescue. She has been feeding Alex and his siblings and made shelters for them on her front porch. The neighbor reached out for assistance and was directed to me via a Facebook friend. On Monday,April 6, 2026, I had the pleasure of meeting Alex. Upon arriving at the feeder's house and opening my car door Alex approached my vehicle, gave my car and me a sniff, and hopped in looking ip at me with his soulful eyes as if to say, I am ready for you to take me yo my new home. Alex was easily placed in a carrier and while somewhat surprised by his confines happily road with me to my vet's office. During our trip he would meow to me each time I asked him a question by name. During his appointment he was well behaved for his blood draw for his combo test which resulted in a negative/negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus. Alex received both an updated rabies and an updated distemper vaccination and was microchipped. Alex is now residing indoors at the home of his feeder and while a tad on the shy side he interacts well with his feeder, her husband, his sister Simba and the feeders two kitties. Although tickled to be safe and secure inside the home of his feeder, Alex yearns for a home of his very own; a forever home, one where he will be loved and cherished, not deemed as disposable. As he and sister Simba are quite close, it would be purrfection if the two were adopted as a bonded pair. If interested in becoming this dear boy's new best buddy, please feel free to contact me.
