About Jasper

Hi, I'm Jasper. I had a rough puppyhood. I am just under 1 1/2 years old. I have a lot of energy and would love someone to run with, hike and go on adventures, maybe learn a doggy sport. I am assertive and not timid, but am a bit unsure of the rules in new situations. I recently have been learning rules. How to sit nicely, not run through doors, wait for things, potty training etc and I'm doing great. I don't like my kennel much, but am learning it's an okay place to chill out now that I don't have to be in there all the time anymore. I love my foster brother a lot, but apparently I can be a bit much and have to be reminded to be respectful, that's hard, I try really hard though. I would love to have a friend, but cats are a temptation, I just want to play, but they don't want to play with me. I love children too, but I don't know my size, I guess, and knock the little ones down. I can do better, I know I can, I just get so excited. I love people, I want pets and cuddles and treats. I have to be reminded to give personal space, but I really just want to be in your lap. Walking on leash needs work, but my foster mom has not been able to work on that much. I would love to run and play all day and then snuggle on the couch.
