About March

TO BE EUTHANIZED 4/9/26 - NYC ACCThis post is going out with a prayer. March is now on the list to die and so is his sister. Two souls who only have each other - and right now, that's all they have left.They were found tied up and abandoned together in Shirley Chisholm State Park. We don't know what they went through but it's clear life has not been kind to them. Sweet March's face is scabbed and cut up - a reflection of everything he's endured. And yet despite it all. He gently takes treats from your hand. He allows a little touch. But he is so, so scared. He doesn't stand tall he doesn't wag with confidence. He hides. He presses himself behind your legs, trying to feel safe peeking out at a world he doesn't understand. He is fragile He is terrified But he is SO worth saving The most heartbreaking part When March sees April again, he lights up. He copies her. Follows her. Finds comfort in her. She is his safety in this scary world Now imagine them losing each other too right before their lives are taken. They don't deserve this ending. March is only 4 years old, 63 lbs Queens ACC New Hope Rescue Only (foster needed to save) No kids under 13 He doesn't need perfection. He just needs someone to show him love for the first time. PLEASE - if you can foster or adopt PLEASE - if you know a rescue PLEASE - SHARE You can be the reason March doesn't die in fear. You can be the reason he finally feels safe.
