These behaviors were rooted in fear and lack of confidence-not aggression-and he has been working hard to overcome them in his foster home. When he first arrived, George was very fearful and guarded his food, toys, resting spaces, and people. With time, structure, and guidance, he has made incredible progress. He's growing more confident every day and continues to show just how much potential by only needing an occasional correction. ��� What George Needs: George is looking for a dog-savvy home-ideally with experience in resource guarding or willingness to learn. A calm, structured environment with confident canine companions will help him continue to thrive. While he's come a long way, he will need ongoing guidance and occasional corrections to reinforce positive behaviors. Because of his history, a home without children is required. ��� Why George? George loves laying outside in the sun and chewing sticks, playing with his favorite stuffy toys, and 'helping' you carry his leash on walks.
