Good with cats. House trained. NOT Crate trained (kept in his own safe area when left alone). Any known medical issues?: None known. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: Possible-shows anxiety and sensitivity, especially around children. ENERGY LEVEL: Medium. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: Medium. Weighs 65 lbs. Currently on Costco food. Loves: Treats, food, running, snow, other dogs, exploring, hikes, cuddling, walks, playing with other dogs, sleeping in bed with his person, being near his person, and squeaky toys. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: This breed is super intelligent. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): Yes. *Good on a Leash?: No-needs work. *Lovable?: This breed is super lovable once they claim you as their person/family. *Eager and fast learner?: This breed is super fast learners when they are being committed to and worked with. Bite History?: NO, but has attempted to snap when overwhelmed (especially around loud or active children). NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: ' Ranger is a very sweet and gentle dog! He is one of the smartest dogs I have ever been around! He loves to walk, hike, and explore! But he also loves to snuggle up in bed or on the couch. He is very emotionally tuned to his humans and can identify when they are happy or sad.' 'He is brilliant and can open any doors that are handles vs knobs! We have to have child locks on all ours! We have 4 kids and we really want to find the best home for Ranger!' Re Homing because�'�|: Ranger needs a home without young children.
