About Sandwich

I had a new home/ foster lined up for Sandwich (Sam) that fell through last minute, I signed the lease already so to absolutely no fault of his own, I have to rehome my best friend. - Just turned four, 85 pound(ish) purebred American Akita. (Non papered) both parents healthy. - Good with people, kids, small dogs, female dogs, chickens/birds. Excited about cats but needs to warm up to them to learn their personal space. - Lived mostly outside on a ranch the past three three years, he comes inside to eat and sleep. He would be best suited outside when home alone. - Was kennel trained as a puppy but has not been in one since. - Neutered, up to date on vaccines, no health issues. - Good on leash, hiking/running, in the car, in stores, has been to training. Sandwich is an amazing dog. He's just as happy inside snuggling with his person/people as he is hiking up steep hills. With him being an akita, please look at the breeds needs. It is incredibly important to me that he goes to a good home with a signed adoption agreement. Vet references preferred.
