We are looking for an experienced dog owner who understands herding breeds and can provide structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. Roscoe would do best in a calm home without small children, where he can be the primary focus and form a strong bond with his person. He is a one-person dog and thrives in a stable environment with someone who is home regularly and willing to spend time with him. A home with a yard is ideal so he can play and stay active, but more importantly, he needs an owner who will engage with him through walks, play, and attention. Due to his food aggression and occasional herding/nipping behavior, he needs someone comfortable managing those behaviors and continuing to reinforce training. We are looking for a safe, responsible home that will treat him as part of the family and give him the care, patience, and consistency he deserves.
