About ACE

ACE is a 3 year old, 19.4 pound Bichon mix surrendered to us. He is the sweetest best friend you could ask for, and he's ready to find a family to call his own. ACE is a lovable little companion who adores his people. He may be shy at first but he quickly warms up and is eager to give affection. He is a total lap dog and happiest when he's close to you, whether curled up beside you or soaking up attention at the dog park. He makes friends easily and has an adorable habit of hugging your legs to show his love. He does not do well when left alone and will need a home where someone is around most of the time. ACE is active and enjoys walks, playing at the dog park with other dogs, and relaxing in the sunshine on the patio. His tail is always wagging, and he's a very social, outgoing little guy once he settles in. He is good with other dogs and would enjoy having another dog companion but could also be okay as an only dog in a home where he gets plenty of attention. His compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown. We think he would be fine with older kids. ACE is leash trained and doing well with house training. He is reliable during the day but still a work in progress at night. He would benefit from a consistent routine to help him continue improving. A fenced yard would be nice for him, especially since he enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. At night, ACE sleeps in the big bed with his family, right where he wants to be. He would love a home with an active family who also enjoys downtime, as he's just as happy playing as he is relaxing in your lap. ACE is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
