Hi friends, I'm Sadie Mae, and true to my name, I'm a Southern belle, sweet as can be and full of gentle charm. My family could no longer care for me and asked FCCR for help. I landed with a wonderful foster family who quickly discovered just what a gem I am. If you're looking for a calm, gentle soul to share your life with - let's talk. I am an 8 year old, 30 lb cocker spaniel girl with a beautiful full tail. I'm the perfect size for snuggling. During the day you might find me draped across the back of the couch, keeping an eye on the neighborhood and at night I would love to sleep in the big bed. I have excellent house manners - my foster mom leaves me free to roam in the house when she goes out. I'm a total pro�'�|I don't even need a crate! I will go into one with a little encouragement though if needed. I walk nicely on leash, love a good romp in the backyard with my foster siblings, and I'm a champ in the car. I'm still discovering the joy of toys - turns out play is pretty fun! I know 'sit,' I take treats like a lady, and I get along beautifully with dogs and all humans including kids. Cats - I'm interested in them but have not gotten close enough yet to know if we can be friends. But I'm basically I'm an instafit dog!
