Lucy is a 3 year old female #GermanShepherd that was originally surrendered to the shelter due to family having 'no time', but as you can see her issues go far beyond someone just not having enough time to provide basic care for their pet :( Lucy arrived with severe hair loss and thickening of the skin, which is likely the result of chronic skin issues & neglect. Lucy is not only suffering with her physical condition, but is also experiencing pain & discomfort from her skin concerns being reported as yelping & sensitive to touch/pressure related to treatments the shelter has attempted to perform. Due to extent of Lucy's skin condition exceeding resources available at the shelter she needs rescue placement by end of day Friday April 17th 2026.
