Mama Bear's owner could not care for her. She came in with two of her daughters that have already been adopted. She's 8 years old and weighs 28 lbs. She had two lipomas removed and went into foster to heal. Her sutures will be coming out soon and she will be ready for her forever home. She needs a home where someone is home a lot. She doesn't like to be alone. Don't let her age fool you. This girl can run fast and pull quite a bit. She loves going for walks. She's friendly to everyone she encounters. She barks at other dogs on walks, but I think it's because she wants to see them. She needs someone who can financially take care of her properly. Her last owners did not and she came to us with yeasty skin, paw pads, and ears. It will be a work in progress to get that under control. She also needs daily eye drops. She is very lovable and cuddly. She loves to toss her bed around. She eats like a champ! Very food motivated! She chases cats and birds outside. She will need a dental in the near future as well. She's a rare chocolate dapple cocker spaniel who has lots of spunk! She is negative for heartworm. She is fully housetrained and has never had an accident. Call or text her foster mom Alexandra 330-261-3934 if you're interested in starting the process to adopt her. The adoption donation is $250 and includes spay, UTD vaccines, and microchip. Prefer experienced cocker owner and if possible in the Venice, FL and surrounding areas. Home visit may be required.
