109 pounds of love. Gets along well with all our dogs most of the time, except gets very upset if our other male (lab) appears to challenge him. Thus we feel it would be better to have him apart from male dogs. Has a very high prey drive. Not trained with livestock. Is a house dog, not crate trained. Will get on furniture-- has his own overstuffed chair here. Rings a bell on the back door to go outside. Limited obedience training. Lives on country property (with lots of land). Rarely off the property, so not leash trained. Used to an underground fence system. Protective of property ( esp. other dogs) but no problems with UPS or Fed Ex. Steals baseball caps and assorted small items if bored! Truly is a sweet dog.
