About Cyrus

Cyrus's foster Mom describes him as a fun, lovable youngster! Playful with other dogs, crate-trained, and house-trained, he's already got a great foundation. He has basic leash manners and is still a bit of a goofy pup, but you can see him maturing every day into a truly lovely German Shepherd. This sweet boy will make a wonderful companion for an adopter who is ready to enjoy his charm and continue his training. He will make an excellent pet, or would be a great candidate for dog sports with his inquisitive mind and eagerness to please. Cyrus is a young black German Shepherd with all the charm (and goofiness) of a growing puppy. Tall, lanky, and full of energy, he's eager to explore the world but is still learning his leash manners. With consistency and patience, Cyrus will blossom into a loyal walking and hiking companion. He is crate trained and doing well with his routine, but like many young shepherds, he'll thrive best with structure, training, and lots of activity to keep both his body and mind busy. Cyrus plays like a typical puppy, a little bit rough sometimes. So, right now, like all puppies, he is best suited in a home with kids over 10. Cats are an unknown at this time . Because he's still a growing pup with plenty of drive, Cyrus will need an experienced German Shepherd adopter who understands the breed's needs and can guide him into adulthood.
