About Klaebo

Help!!! I am at risk of being euthanized since considered a longer-term doggie here at the shelter (arrived Feb. 16th). If that comes to pass, I will then be dumped into a black, trash bag, as if I didn't matter, not worthy of life, to be loved, to love. Someone, sadly, cropped my ears to make me look tough, but I am a very gentle doggie, no toughie. I don't know why no one came looking for me since am a very good boy. Am kind of afraid here since so very loud with dogs barking constantly, don't get out much out of my kennel, so mostly alone. Can be a scary place for us softies. I know lots of things, know how to sit, down, and even give double paw. The volunteers say, I am a 'truly special dog' and am extremely sweet. Please come out to meet me. Maybe take me home? I can show you how special I am. Come. Human speaking here now, please, please, if have the ability to adopt, even foster Klaebo (different process-which I can explain), any of the dogs listed at the shelter on here, many more that aren't listed, come out to Chicago Animal Care and Control, contact this page. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, very real risk, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, which is a tragedy upon a tragedy, to be locked up so much. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are able to still continue to be great, even though caged up so much. Please, come out. Any dog that is adopted, will be spayed/neutered by the shelter at no charge, same with microchipping.
