Meet Tanner - the best kind of 'mystery mix' with a whole lot of love to give ��%90%BE At just 9 months old, Tanner is a medium-sized sweetheart weighing in around 40-45 lbs. His breed? We're guessing Boxer, Feist, maybe Black Mouth Cur�'�| but honestly, he's 100% adorable and completely one-of-a-kind. Tanner has that perfect balance of playful puppy and calm companion. He enjoys yard time, toys, and a good game of tug-of-war, but his favorite place might just be right in your lap. When it's time to relax, this boy melts into you and is perfectly content soaking up affection and sneaking in a nap. He's dog-friendly, playful, and shows nice social manners - even a little submissive at times. He's happy to have dog friends but can also entertain himself just fine. Tanner walks well on a harness (no pulling!) though he does like to lead the way and take in the sights. Tanner is about 70% house-trained and currently working on crate training. He may protest a bit at first (he's got some opinions!), but he does settle with time. The good news? He's not a destructive chewer and makes good choices with his toys. He's curious about cats - mostly barking or giving a playful chase if they run - but it seems more like entertainment than anything else. With guidance, he could likely learn to coexist. Tanner would likely do well in a variety of homes, and we think he'd be especially great with kids thanks to his gentle, affectionate nature.
