Cookie and Monster are sweet and handleable 16-month-old female Abyssinian guinea pig sisters looking for a loving guardian. Sadly, they were given up by a family who had less time in their busy schedule to care for them properly. They are currently eating unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, fresh salad, with treats of fruits, veggies and pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch squares of red pepper, a vitamin C cookie, and some of their dark leafy greens. These girls deserve a guinea pig-loving home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and their habitat nice and clean. If you're interested in meeting and possibly adopting these two adorable girls, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting [email protected] Their adoption fee of $60 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $75, you can purchase their Midwest guinea pig cage (two-foot by four-foot), and all the supplies you'll need to care for them! They are being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
