Troy's mom (a full blooded GS) was abandoned, chained, and giving birth one day in my yard when I arrived home. Troy is one of the last remaining pups left. He has a very strong prey drive, can climb nearly any fence, and an electric boundary is just a second thought for him, but combine the two and you have a winner. He needs a combo of a fence and electric line to keep him in the yard. He is extremely selective about what dogs he will get along with, and eventually does warm up to some dogs but will try to dominate them and can hurt them if not being watched carefully. He hates cats. He doesn't know his size so being around small children, he may knock them down. Older kids (pre-teen and up) should be fine, but no small children. It will take him time to get used to a new owner so you will have to be patient and earn his trust. He needs to go to someone who understands the german shepherd breed, their energy levels, and other animal aggressive tendency and can train him the way he needs. Serious inquiries only! And only if you understand this breed!!! Adoption fee is within MS border, out of state transportation fees may apply if personal pickup is not possible.
