Nicolage is a happy sweet boy, friends with anyone. He'll be two in May, 2026, and he still has a lot of energy. He's about 37 pounds, and can jump like a pogo stick. His amusing little perma-grin is the result of an underbite and shifted lower jaw. That condition may be the result of a birth defect or hard hit to the left side of his face as a wee one. His teeth are healthy but a little misdirected on that side. This condition should not present big problems, except that grabbing things with his teeth may be harder as he gets older, and there are some things that are too hard to chew. Also teeth cleaning will be important. Otherwise he's healthy, very active, cuddly, eager to please, smart and entertaining. He has quickly learned domestic life hacks. He uses the dog door, is house trained, sits and waits for his food, and walks on a leash. He sticks pretty close on off leash walks. He happily jumps in the car and travels well. Nicolage can be in a roomy crate. He plays especially well with Boyle, another dog he was rescued with, who looks to be a relative. Boyle is also available for adoption. Together they would be perfect entertainers for each other while their human family is at work or school. He is located in Dolores, Co. and available through Blackhat Humane Society.
