About Pretty Boy Cocoa

Cocoa is a very mild mannered dog who has been with us since he was 4 months old. He enjoys being outdoors in the backyard and is in the backyard for most of the day. He barks when he hears something and at the neighborhood squirrels. He enjoys playing fetch with a ball and chews on a toy occasionally. Cocoa is house trained and crate trained. He sleeps in a crate inside every night. Cocoa was trained to 'sit' and 'stay', he sits before he is allowed to enter or leave a door. Cocoa is trained on a Perfect Pace lead and a collar lead. His owner is undergoing major life changes to include: extended and additional times away from home and I will be required to move to a smaller residence without the same amount of backyard space. I am allergic to him so Cocoa will spend an increased amount of time in the new smaller space will exacerbate my allergies. Cocoa is loyal to his owner/caretaker and prefers to at least have his owner in his sights. Cocoa spends play time with other intact dogs and is groomed once a month. Cocoa is apprehensive around new sounds until he can smell the new item or his owner/caretaker is near. Cocoa would be a great dog for either a home where he is the only dog if the owner is attentive or a family with other dogs.
