URGENT: Callie Needs a Safe Home Before It's Too Late Callie is a beautiful little tortoiseshell point calico who should have never had to start life the way she did. She was born outside to a very feral mama kitty and, like so many kittens, her life began with uncertainty, danger, and survival. I took Callie and her sister in because I could not stand the thought of leaving them out there. Sadly, one of the outdoor cats was tragically killed by a car, and that heartbreak is exactly why I fought to get these babies to safety. I did not want Callie and her sister to become the next ones lost. Now they are inside, safe for the moment - but they desperately need a forever home. I do not have the space or long-term ability to keep them, and I am trying with all my heart to make sure they do not end up back in a dangerous situation after everything they have already been through. Callie is sweet, loving, domesticated, spayed, and vaccinated. She is not just 'another kitten.' She is a life that was saved and is now depending on someone to give her the chance she almost never had. Her sister is also in need of a home and is just as deserving. It is heartbreaking to think that after surviving life outside, hunger, fear, and all the dangers that come with being born feral, these girls could still end up without a safe place to belong. They deserve warm beds, gentle hands, full bellies, and a home where they will never again have to worry about surviving. Please, if you can open your heart and home, Callie needs you.
