About Cheesecake

* 7 month old German Shepherd/Terrier mix * weighs 53 pounds * heartworm negative * owner surrender by no fault of her own - she was part of a litter of puppies and came in with Lemon Pound Cake (A429052) * dog friendly - per previous owner * kid friendly, all ages - per previous owner * crate trained * shy at first but welcomed all my pets * gentle and loving * quiet and calm * wants to please * she is new to leashes but is quick to pick up on new things Cheesecake is a beautiful girl who is a little bit overwhelmed in our noisy and full shelter. She arrived the day I took this picture. She lays on her bed but come ups to her kennel door to check things out. She warmed right up once she felt safe with me. Cheesecake was happy for the pets, and the treats I gave her. She is submissive and welcomes your attention. Once Cheesecake was comfortable with me she sat for treats, took them so gently and gave her best sit for the camera. Cheesecake is a gorgeous girl who would love to go home with you.
