About Russell

We are looking for a home for our rescue puppy, Russell! He was found as a stray originally and no owner came toward so we adopted him. I thought I was ready for another dog after our German shepherd passed away, but I'm not and he deserves someone that is. He is approximately 7 months old and weighs around 50 pounds. He has been neutered, is up to date on shots, and kept on monthly heartworm prevention. He is great with other dogs, cats, children of all ages, and is just all around an absolute sweetheart. He listens really well and does amazing off leash since we have a small farm (He already knows the property line). He's also great with our chickens and pigs and has never shown an ounce of aggression to anyone or thing. He is doing great with house training and will let you know when he needs to go out (still has accidents every now and then but these are becoming less and less). He is a typical puppy and is a chewer when left alone, and does best crated when you aren't with him (he does fuss at first in the crate but quietens down after a bit). I'm looking for the perfect home for him, he deserves the best. He has a very goofy and quirky personality and is very easy to fall in love with.
