About Ocean

Ocean is a loving, people-oriented dog who is looking for a very special home where she can truly thrive. She is wonderful with people and does great with children, making her a loyal and affectionate companion. Ocean does, however, need to be the only pet in the home. She has shown sporadic reactivity toward other dogs, particularly those that are smaller or more submissive. Because of this, she will need a pet-free environment, and we strongly recommend a home that will not attempt introductions with other animals. Ocean would do best with an experienced owner who understands dog behavior and is willing to continue her training and set her up for success. With the right structure, patience, and consistency, she has so much potential to be an incredible companion. She is excelling in her basic command training. She is probably a Pit mix, about 40-50 pounds, fixed, up to date on all shots and microchipped. I am only asking for a donation to the amazing local training facility who took her in when Ocean's rescue vanished with most of the donations meant for her training and care. I have full medical records plus notes from her time at the shelter regarding her behavior issues. We are committed to finding Ocean the right fit and will cover transportation costs for an out-of-area adopter if it means placing her in the perfect home.
