Help!!! At risk of being euthanized when the shelter gets over-capacity, since considered a longer-term doggie here and left here by my human. Only arrived at the shelter on Feb. 16th. Am still a puppy, a baby, about 11 months old. Have so much life left to live, so much love yet to give, please, help me. The volunteers at the shelter say I am very social, which I am, and playful. Am doing well with my sit; since am a puppy, have that happy puppy energy, but since love my treats, that energy can easily be directed. I play nice in doggie playgroup. I had surgery on my eyelid at the shelter due to entropion, all fixed now. Please come visit me. Maybe take me home? Come. Human speaking here now, please, please, if have the ability to adopt, even foster Cowbell (different process-which I can explain), any of the dogs listed at the shelter on here, many more that aren't listed, come out to Chicago Animal Care and Control, contact this page. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, very real risk, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, which is a tragedy upon a tragedy, to be locked up so much. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are able to still continue to be great, even though caged up so much. If want to see other wonderful doggies, besides Cowbell, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control', on left hand side. Come.
