About Oreo aka Oreoki

Pit Bull / Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Hi there, I am hoping you can help with an owner surrender/ rehome one of our rescued dog. Please feel free to forward this to other organization that might be able to help. Thank you so much!! About Oreo Meet Oreo (aka Oreoki) a sweet, affectionate Black Lab / Pitbull mix, about 3 years old and 50-60 lbs of pure love. She's the definition of a cuddle bug-always leaning in, always wanting to be close. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side, Oreo is your girl. She would make a wonderful Emotional Support Companion. Her Story Oreo came to us as an owner surrender from a previous owner who was living in a van and could no longer care for her. When we took her in, she was underweight and had hookworms but with proper vet care, nutrition, and lots of love, she has made a full recovery. She's been with us since December 5, 2023, and has grown into a healthy, happy, spayed dog. All vet records and microchip info will be provided. She currently lives with both an X- large dog and an X- small dog and does co-exist, but her play style can be rough, and she can be protective of attention. Personality & Traits Indoor dog who LOVES to snuggle Loyal, protective, and naturally alert (great watchdog) Food-motivated and eager to learn Can be food-aggressive (managed by feeding separately) Playful with a big personality-loves to run and zoom Ideal Home Oreo is young, loving, and full of life. She deserves a home where she can run, feel secure, and be someone's devoted companion. Oreo would thrive in a home with: An experienced, confident dog owner (especially with pit bull-type breeds) A stay-at-home or work-from-home owner, as she truly loves being around her people and bonds closely. A secure, fenced yard to burn off energy, and access to backyard is ideal. Structure, consistency, and continued training Preferably as the only dog at first (slow introductions recommended) Teens are okay; behavior with small children is unknown Reason for Rehoming Our family is expecting a baby in July 2026, and with multiple dogs in a small condo, we cannot give Oreo the space, time, and attention she truly deserves. This is not an easy decision-we love her deeply-but we want the best life for her. She is young, energetic, and loves to run and play-she deserves a home where she can truly thrive. We are committed to finding Oreo the perfect forever home where she will be loved, safe, and given the life she deserves. We will carefully select the best match for her. We are willing to transport her to the right home. Located in Colton / Inland Empire Call/Text: 310-775-0767 Email: [email protected]
