Hi, I'm a 13-year-old toy poodle (9.5 lbs of pure devotion), and I'm currently accepting applications for my forever human. Let's get this out of the way�'�| yes, I am a stage 5 clinger. If you've ever wanted a tiny, fluffy shadow who prefers to be carried like royalty in a sling, bag, or your arms at all times�'�| I'm your guy. My mom recently had to move into a care facility, so I'm looking for a new home where I can give all my love. I've been very loved my whole life, and I'm ready to keep doing what I do best�'�| being your little companion. I'm working on my independence (it's going�'�| okay). I may whine a little when my person leaves. I do much better with women and calm dog friends who can show me that the world does not, in fact, end when you walk out the door. Progress has been made. I can now handle short 'you went into another room and didn't disappear forever' situations. Potty training? Also in progress. I'm doing well with a routine and walks help a lot, though sometimes I feel strongly that walking is optional and being carried is the better life choice. I wear a belly band when unsupervised and have had several accident-free days. I'd say that's pretty impressive. I'm a quiet, chill little guy. Not much of a barker. My main hobbies include cuddling, supervising you, and existing near you at all times. I get along well with small dogs and cats. Health-wise, I'm doing well. I take a liver supplement and a little medication for anxiety, and I'll need a dental cleaning soon. I also have some seasonal skin allergies, so I get wiped down after being in the grass (spring is rude, honestly). The good news? I'm great for baths and don't mind a little spa treatment. Important notes: Crates are not my thing. Car rides are great�'�| as long as I'm sitting with you, obviously. Best home: patient, loving, preferably women, and bonus points for a calm dog friend.
