ATTICUS, a badly neglected 2-yr-old Cane Corso or Mastiff / Pitbull mix was picked up as an emaciated stray roaming the streets of Dallas, TX, and dumped at the local kill pound, where he was sentenced to death simply because that was easier for uncaring managers than adopting him. Luckily, a caring 501(c)(3) dog rescue group saved ATTICUS in the eleventh hour, and placed him in boarding where he quickly became a staff favorite. ATTICUS is a gentle giant who is naturally loving with all people, including kids, though he's not good with small dogs and cats whom he loves to chase incessantly. ATTICUS is however tolerant of larger dogs, particularly females. ATTICUS is house-trained, neutered, up-to-date on all shots and in good overall health. If you're looking for an intelligent, loving and loyal rescue dog to join your family, then ATTICUS is the one for you! Staff members at the boarding facility where ATTICUS is beloved, describe him as an 'exceptionally bright fast learner' and a 'good-natured, happy-go-lucky lovebug.'
