About Ruby

Ruby is a beautiful labrador/shephard mix, she is all white with light brown freckles on her ears. She is extremely smart, knows several commands and tricks and is COMPLETELY housebroken. She is ABSOLUTELY amazing with people,she is drawn to people...she is amazing with kids as well and gets along with any other animal that gets along with her. She loves to play fetch and go for long walks. She is a very free spirited dog and loves to explore and won't hesitate to tell you exactly what it is that she wants! She loves to cuddle and sleep with her pet parent. I would like her to go to a home with yard for her to be in when she wants her outdoor time.She LOVES being outdoors when the weather is nice. She would best fit a pet parent that is active and does outdoorsy things. She would do best as an only pet or as a pet with another playful companion, she is super playful as well. If she could chose she would always be by her pet parents side, but she does well when alone in a home as well, however she does get very bored when home for long periods of time. I have only had her about 8 months, she came to my door daily and would bark until I let her in. Then she refused to leave!! She was apparently attacked by her previous owners pit bull and they had no problem letting her stay with me. I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment with 3 other dogs and I feel like finding Ruby a home where she can have the space necessary for her dog breed is what is best for her. I work a lot and she is home more often than I want her to be and gets very bored, she needs a more active lifestyle and more space to be the best version of Ruby that she can be. I love her dearly but I feel the best choice for Ruby is finding her a better, more suitable home.
