About Simon

Available for adoption!! Meet Simon. This handsome 3-year-old male neutered Siamese, with crystal blue crossed eyes, might be your new best friend. He is super playful, very mischievous, but does enjoy a good snuggle. Simon is also very smart. He will do anything to try to get past your legs and go outside, so a secure indoor home is what he requires. He does not like to be told what to do and back talks when you try to correct him. He loves toys and looking out the window. He does well in a pet carrier when transporting. Anyone that has had a Siamese knows the type of personality I'm speaking of. He gets along well with cats that are not submissive, but also not alpha. Social cats will do just fine with him, especially active, playful cats, and maybe 1 or 2 other cats. He gets overwhelmed if it's more than 2 cats. He would be a perfect single cat. Seems fine with dogs as long as they like cats. Young kids, probably not a good idea. Simon has been with our vet tech in the Rescue for about 2 months. He came to us with severe constipation and was surrendered because of this. We have gotten him back on track and he does very well with a little bit of miralax mixed in his food daily to keep his stool soft. He must continue to eat canned food only. He loves a water fountain style water bowl. Must have the financial stability to get him to the vet if he has trouble with constipation again. He has not been constipated in over a month.
